Richard A. Hirschen, CPA
Rich Hirschen’s diverse background in both public and private accounting gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and needs of companies. His strengths lie in establishing solid financial systems and internal control procedures. This includes setting up revenue recognition procedures, creating accounts payable systems and providing management reports and analysis as well as long term strategic planning.
In addition to his work in financial controls and accounting, Rich has audit experience in assessing and implementing 401(k) and other employee benefit plans. Rich is a key member of our Employee Benefit Plan practice group and oversees many benefit plan audits.
After beginning his accounting career with a large national firm, Rich Hirschen joined Gray, Gray & Gray in 1996. Rich is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).
