Michael Cecere, CPA

Whether it is designing and implementing internal accounting systems, or representing a client with the Internal Revenue Service, Michael always delivers effective advice.
After several years with a Boston accounting firm, Michael joined Gray, Gray & Gray in 1989. He provides day-to-day service for a number of key clients, delivering insightful advice in the areas of accounting, audit, tax and internal control matters. Michael also heads up the firms Quality Control Department and the Employee Benefit Plan Practice Group.
Michael’s diverse background and experience make him a key player in the firm’s Quality Control and Practice Groups. His organizational and planning skills help ensure our audits are conducted in a thorough, yet timely manner, in accordance with the latest accounting principles and audit regulations.
Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Michael also serves as a director of the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce and New England Chapter of the Family Firm Institute.
Michael is a graduate of Merrimack College and serves on the College's Alumni Council. He is currently enrolled as a Masters in Taxation candidate at Bentley College. A native of Chelsea, Mass., he resides in Norwood, Mass. with his wife, Anne Decker Cecere.
